Articulation Studies

Today we are going to explore articulations on both the tuba and bass and take a look at how important articulations are in correlation to the style of music we are playing. Remember, as tuba players we are the bass instrument. The more we understand how the traditional bass instrument articulates different notes will help us sound more authentic and feel better.

Don’t forget, your articulation is the introduction to your sound.
