Jason Moncrief
Born in Raised in Youngstown Ohio., Jason attended Youngstown State University, and graduated with a BA in Tuba and Flute.performance. Since then Jason has been an Associate for both the New Wold Symphony as well as the Chicago Civic Orchestra on tuba. He was Principal Flute for the Center Stage Opera in Thousand Oaks CA in Los Angeles. He also served as Principal Flute and Associate Conductor of NYC Renaissance Chamber Collaborative.
He has also performed as flutist for Disney's Broadway hit "Beauty and the Beast" national and International tours for 4 years. Also performing with the Tony and Emmy Award winning show "BLAST" nationally and internationally on and off for 9yrs. In 2016 Jason moved to make Columbus Ohio his home base, sharing his musical talents locally, and continuing his tours and many projects
Jason got his start in an inner-city private school, and has a strong passion for teaching music, and theater in the inner city. He enjoys bringing what he has learned back to the hearts of communities just like his hometown which gave him all the tools to be able to be fortunate to share his gift with the world.
